Capitol Conference provides REALTORS® the opportunity to meet with their elected officials to discuss issues of importance to the real estate industry.  This is your chance to make an early and positive impact by ensuring that those making policy for the State of Missouri have the benefit of input from involved real estate professionals.

One low registration fee will include:  lunch, briefing session, afternoon visits to the Capitol and an evening reception honoring members of the General Assembly and Statewide Elected Officials.

Are you interested in the possibility of running for public office in your community or at the state level?  Would you like to hear more about your state’s legislative process from experts in the field?  If you answer yes to one or both of these questions, then the Political Outreach Program (POP) is for you! 

 

A debut session will be from 2:45-4:00 on Thursday, January 22, at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City during the MAR Business Conference (State Committee and Board of Directors meetings).  Held during the second hour of the Governmental Affairs Forum, POP is open to ALL MAR members at no cost.  The January session will include a panel of experts, REALTORS® and others who are currently involved in Missouri’s political scene. Three additional sessions will be held in the same time slot at the remaining 2009 Business Conferences.
